If you can get your hands on one of these incredibly handy little shot glass then you will thank me forever.

Whilst I am sure we all commonly relate to using these tiny glasses in our local bar on a Saturday night…and the results are never positive. This little glass will give you a much better outcome… I promise!

Mine is from KitchenCraft, it has measurement for millimetres, teaspoons, tablespoons, shots and fluid ounces. 5 conversions from one tiny instrument. It is great from knocking up a quick salad dressing and measuring out small measurements.

FREEZER TIP ALERT: Frozen Flavoured Oils


These are wonderful little gems to have in your freezer. They provide great flavours to the most simple dishes and the best thing of all… they are super easy to do and take no time!

If you have fresh herbs which are coming up to the end of their life this is a fantastic way to reduce waste and money.

Instead of using plain olive oil when next frying your onions for a spaghetti bolognese, pull out your ready made frozen flavoured oil… you are going to wish you had done this sooner!!

You will need:

Ice Cube Tray

Olive Oil

Fresh Herbs (Thyme, Rosemary, Basil etc..)

What to do:

  1. Fill each compartment of your ice cube tray with your chosen fresh herbs (this can be a mixture or just one herb) .
  2. Pour your olive oil into each compartment filling it to the top
  3. Freeze!
